This light and airy ground-floor room with its beams and window seats is named after Lord Seaton’s gardener, William Yabsley, whose living room this used to be. Beechwood House, where he used to work, is just a stroll down the lane, on the right hand side. The king-size, memory foam bed is just made for a good night’s sleep, and there is a slate-floored en-suite bathroom for privacy. The only things that might disturb you on Sunday morning are the sound of horses clopping by, or a gentle reminder from All Saints’ church bells!
In addition to free wifi, you will find filtered water, fresh coffee for your cafetiere, English Breakfast tea for the morning (a flask of fresh milk will be delivered to your room) and a jar of biscuits.
Rates: £75 per night.
Check-in: 5pm onwards.
Check-out: By 11am.
Please note: there is no shower in the bathroom, but many guests find the bath more relaxing.
